Why Do I Feel Guilty?
We have asked Justy - repeatedly, I may add - to get out the leaf blower and blow all of the leafs onto the tree belt. We have asked him since last Thursday, and he has put it off over and over. Yet, we continued to give him money to go places with his friends.It is now late Sunday morning, and he finally started them. But he wants to leave in an hour to go skateboarding with some other friends. I told him no way, no how. He gets no money until he is completely done. And he needs money to get into the Skate park.
So, he says I have ruined his weekend. And he claims that he is absolutely freezing.
I gave him a hat, and a pair of gloves.
He has on a winter coat, and I think it is in the upper 40's not too cold. I mean, he snowboards when it is below 20 degrees - what is the big deal.
He doesn't want to do it. Period. And I feel guilty to be asking him to do it.
We rarely ask him to pitch in around here. And he mostly comes and goes as he pleases.
